    For more than 30 years Jonathan Edwards been part of senior management teams leading start-up private and non-profit organizations. In these roles, he has become recognized as a leader in the marketing and strategic design of clean tech firms, and as a regional leader for economic development and public/private partnerships in his home region of Western Massachusetts.
    His latest role is Director of Strategic Partnerships with Tech Foundry. As director, Edwards has helped turn Tech Foundry into an award winning non-profit organization that is a key part of the economic revitalization of the greater Springfield area. Edwards has led a team that boasts a placement rate with area employers of close to 70%, adding hundreds of thousands of dollars to the regional Springfield economy.
    In the past, Edwards' marketing, strategic design and stakeholder driven systems have been integral to teams he led receiving the U.S. DOE Green Power Pilot Award, and the U.S. EPA Clean Air Excellence Award.
    Edwards is also a regional political leader in Western Massachusetts, currently in his 13th year as a member of the Whately, MA Board of Selectmen. In his 2013/2014 campaign for Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor, Edwards combined his passion for economic development, clean energy technologies and systems, understanding of public/private partnerships and good governance to amplify the need for and path towards the economic revitalization in economically distressed regions of Massachusetts as well as for sustainable economics and economic/social justice for at-risk and hard to reach individuals in the state.
    Edwards holds a B.A. from Skidmore College and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
